Free, no ads. A 3x3 cube puzzle simulator — Rubik's Cube, GAN, and more — that runs entirely in your browser. Works on PC, phone, and tablet.
Just swipe to move the cube — it's intuitive from the start. Never solved a cube before? Tutorial mode guides you through the method step by step, right on the cube itself. I (the developer) actually learned to solve a cube using this app.
It also works offline, even in airplane mode. It supports 9 languages, so you can share it with friends abroad too.
What You Can Do
Intuitive swipe controls. Drag the background to freely rotate your view. Speed ranges from slow to super-fast
Net (unfolded) diagram view, with 3 layout options
A step-by-step tutorial teaches you the fundamentals of solving through more advanced techniques. Currently covers LBL (Layer By Layer) and all 41 F2L (First Two Layers) patterns. Star (★) the lessons and exams you want to revisit, and quiz yourself on your starred exams in a random order
Time tracking, plus rewind/replay of your move history — share replays with friends or on social media via a short link
Save frequently-used move sequences as a "command" and replay them with a double-tap
Solve the cube automatically with a single button press
Install it as an app to play offline, even in airplane mode
There's plenty more too — see the README for the full picture.
Install as an App (PWA)
This app supports PWA (Progressive Web App) installation. It just uses a standard feature built into your browser, so there's no separate app store download required. It's widely supported across major platforms — Android, iPhone, and PC.
How to Install
The exact steps vary a bit depending on your device and browser. Searching "(browser name) PWA install" is the most reliable way, but here's a rough guide:
Android (Chrome): From the menu (⋮), choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
iPhone (Safari): Tap the share button, then "Add to Home Screen"
PC (Chrome / Edge): Use the install icon on the right side of the address bar, or "Install app" from the menu
Benefits
An icon is added to your home screen or desktop, so you can launch it directly without opening a browser
Once opened, it also works offline — even in airplane mode
You get a wider view without the browser's address bar and other UI
It's free to install, with no charges to worry about
Unlike a native app, it never accesses your contacts, photos, location, or other personal data or sensitive information on your device — it runs within the same safe boundaries as your browser
About This App's Safety
We put your enjoyment first: this app shows no ads whatsoever, and we have no plans to introduce any in the future
A couple of features talk to external servers, but every one of them is designed and run by the developer (itachiwalker) personally. Only the minimum information needed is ever sent, and none of it is passed on to third parties like advertisers or data brokers
The solver service that computes cube solutions: all that's ever sent is a string representing the cube's state — no name, device information, usage data, or any other personally identifying information
The "Share replay" feature: using it sends that replay's contents (title, cube state, move sequence) to a storage server. No personally identifying information is included, and shared data is automatically deleted after 30 days
Analytics are handled without cookies or any personally identifying information — only anonymous, aggregate statistics like page views are collected
Information stored only in your browser (localStorage) is limited to the following. All of it stays on your own device and is never sent anywhere:
Settings such as speed, language, axis display, and command bindings
High scores (recorded times)
Tutorial progress and favorites (★)
Prohibited Uses
The following are prohibited:
Downloading this app's files and running them anywhere other than this service
Modifying the source code, even for personal use
Decompiling, disassembling, deobfuscating, or otherwise analyzing the app's internal structure
Duplicating or redistributing this app
The tutorial data (learning content) is published separately under the MIT License and is not subject to this restriction.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. The cube rotation is slow or choppy.
A. Enabling "hardware acceleration" (graphics acceleration) in your browser's settings may make rotation smoother.
Q. How long does a shared replay link stay valid?
A. It stays valid for 30 days after sharing. After that, it's automatically deleted and the link will no longer open.
This app is free and ad-free. It's developed and maintained as a personal hobby project, and donations are entirely optional. If you found it useful or fun, your support below would mean a lot.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this project so far. Your support keeps me motivated to keep adding new tutorials and making small improvements.
